It’s all about the dog!

I’ve always been very fond of pets, especially dogs.  They really complete a home.  In my house a dog isn’t just a dog, it’s a member of the family.  In fact, at my house, “it’s all about the dog!” 

I’ve had dogs with allergies, dogs who loved to swim, dogs who loved being outdoors, and all of them loved to roll around and occasionally roll in some nasty smelling stuff.  And, they all had the same problem - stinky collars.  No matter how many times I washed the collar, eventually I had to throw it out because I couldn’t get the smell out of it.  Besides that, who wants to throw that nasty collar into their washing machine!!  Even the dog’s neck stunk from the collar.  I didn’t want a stinky dog and I knew that I was not the only one dealing with this issue so I was determined to find a solution to this problem. 

After a year of testing all different types of material, I finally found a material that was non-porous so potential odors from oily skin, bacteria, hot spots, rain/water, even dirt didn’t penetrate into the collar so it didn’t stink or make the dogs neck stink.  Better yet, to clean it, all I had to do was rinse it with soap and warm water and all the dirt and slime came right off!!  At last, the WearHard Dog Collar was born!  No more stinky collars.
